This page leads you to Claudia and Bruce's web sites of friends, family and favorites.

Our favorite links of all are Aidell's Apple Chicken Sausages. We have them for breakfast every Christmas and whenever we can. But that's probably not the kind of links you were looking for.

Claudia admires and is inspired by many fine performers and writers. Our good pal Jill Freeman has a new web site that shows Jill's talent as a singer, photographer and songwriter. We often perform Jill's song "Walkin' On Glass" in our live show. And one of Bruce's favorite songs of all time is Godzilla Blues, which explains all about the largest reptile ever to appear in a major motion picture.

Cheryl Wheeler is a wonderful writer who can write touching personal relflections and turn around sing about all the manifestations of the potato with equal finesse. A great voice, too. Cheryl sets the standard on just being herself on stage, telling stories and having fun.

One of our favorite songwriters and frequent musical ally is Allison MacLeod. Bruce played electric guitar on 4 or 5 tracks on Allison's new CD. And Claudia sings back up on "Try" and "Must Have Done Something Right." Many of Allison's songs have found their way into our live set, and the next CD is sure to include one or two of them.

Mark Governor is the producer of Song Food. He applied just the right amount of musical direction, inspiration and psychology to guide us perfectly through making our first record. He is a film composer, songwriter and has adapted Nathanliel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter into a rock musical. He also writes and produces music for commercials. A true bon vivant.

We have been fortunate to cross paths with singer/songwriter Kevin So a number of times. Kevin is a brilliant musician who delivers lucid and melodic songs with stunning conviction. And he has enough personality for a trio. So check out his web site.

Our friends at Digital Deviants often take our calls about "how do I get Dreamweaver to do ...?" We are most indebted to the very clever Dave Cullipher, wizard of all things. He and his senior colleague steve Levine designed a fantastic site for their client, the Blaze Company. Note the fancy Flash programming and the effective use of music on the site.

The best book on the music business we've read yet is Jeri Goldstein's "How to Be Your Own Booking Agent." It is a comprehensive career guide for touring musicians, and it delivers more than it promises. Tons of good info, help with big picture issues and well written, too.

There are at least two companies that help artists sell their CDs online. If you are web proficient and need a efficient way to take fill and ship orders, CD Street is great. If you want to be part of a community of country and folk artists, efolkmusic.com may be the web home for you. Both of these sites sell Claudia's CD.

Claudia's all time favorite web site is Epicurious.com, where you can search for recipes to your stomach's content.

Bruce Kaplan, husband, mandolin player, webmaster, etc., has a number of sites that are related to him. One is Annyland, a pop-rock band of which he is a founding member, guitar player and an integral part of their sound. He also developed their web site. The key member of Annyland is Anny Celsi, a frequent partner in crime and writer of "Whiskey Walk," recorded by Claudia on Song Food. The original electric blues version can be heard on "She Walks In," Annlyands 1996 CD.

Another site delves far into Bruce's past as guitar player for the Toasters, an early 80's New Wave band. Hosted on the very fun TVparty.com site, by the talented Billy Ingram.

Wisconsin's American Folklore Theatre is one of the country's most successful presenters of original musical comedies. In our humble opinion, their shows (at a gorgeous open air theater in Peninsula State Park) are more entertaining than just about anything you'll find on Broadway today. Great music, funny stories and a first rate cast make for the most fun you can have in the woods with your clothes on! The fact that our brother Jimmy is musical director for the company is completely besides the point.
